My Cases
This screen is designed to provide a quick point of entry to the cases on which you are actively participating. Due to the possibility that this screen could display a high volume of cases, a filter has been applied to this list automatically for all PACFile users. The cases that appear by default are those that have been filed within the past 365 days and does not include any cases where you are a proxy for a participating attorney or organization.
The default list of cases that display can be altered by using the Filter button and adjusting the court type or filed date rangeDate Filed Start Date, Date Filed End Date, and Court Type fields to complete a search. As a general rule, for performance purposes, it is best to avoid completing a search that might produce hundreds of results.
The following represents some important features for the cases displayed in this screen:
-
Clicking on the View Case Details icon transfers you to the Case Details screen and displays more extensive information for the corresponding case.
-
Clicking on the Docket Sheet icon generates the current docket sheet for the corresponding case.
-
Clicking the Court Summary icon generates a participant–based report that lists all of the primary participant’s cases, statewide, at the Common Pleas level.
-
When the Associated Cases icon appears in the Other Info column, it indicates that the corresponding case is consolidated with another case in that court. Consolidated cases are those where the court has decided to consider the cases jointly.
